Terms of Service

ALL SALES FINAL, EXCEPT AS STATED IN THESE POLICIES OR REQUIRED BY LAW.

These terms govern purchases from Dixon Public and, in the sections on product ideas and sighting photos, content you send us. Dixon Public is operated by SELC Enterprises, LLC, which is the seller of all goods offered here. By placing an order or sending us an idea or photo, you agree to the terms that apply to that activity.

Goods. Dixon Public sells novelty apparel and goods produced to order by its production partners. Product images may be digital renderings. The delivered item may vary slightly in color or design placement from the image shown.

All sales final. We do not accept returns or exchanges and do not issue refunds because a customer changed their mind or selected the wrong size, color, product, quantity, or shipping address. If we can't make or ship your order by the time stated at checkout or, if no time is stated, within 30 days, we'll cancel it and refund you in full. If we or our production partner make a verified error, we will replace or reship under the Refund Policy. If a replacement can't fix it, we'll refund the item. Please review the product, size, color, quantity, and shipping address before completing checkout.

Prices and payment. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Shipping charges and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Shipping charges are nonrefundable except for an order we cancel or refund under our policies, or where applicable law requires a refund. We may cancel an order before it ships, for example for a pricing error, suspected fraud, or a discontinued item. If we do, we refund it in full. Payment is collected through Shopify's secure checkout.

Shipping and order problems. Production, delivery, cancellation, replacement, reshipment, and refund terms are stated in our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, which are part of these terms.

Standing. Dixon Public is an independent novelty goods label. It is not a government agency, municipality, or public department, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any town, city, county, school, or library named Dixon.

Intellectual property. The Dixon Public name, marks, designs, and published material belong to SELC Enterprises, LLC or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

Product ideas. Suggestions are gifts: we may use any idea without paying or crediting you.

Sighting photos. Only send a sighting photo if, in your email, you confirm that you took the photo. By sending it for a sighting, you give SELC Enterprises, LLC permission to publish it on Dixon Public and in Dixon Public posts, with credit to the name you give us. This permission does not include merchandise. We will ask separately before using a photo on merchandise.

Liability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is capped at the price paid for the item giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability the law doesn't let us limit. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa.
